The North Lebanon Water Establishment is a public entity law that was founded in 2000 under the oversight of the Ministry of Energy and Water in compliance with the decree 221.  It reliably provides quality water to Tripoli and the entire Northern Governorate.  It is sub divided into 9 branches, and supplies water to more than 110,000 households in the Northern region of Lebanon. 

The North Lebanon Water establishment produces over 170,000 cubic meters of water per day (170,000,000 liters/day) via the use and operation of more than 100 artision wells and 60 gravity sources generation.
